Newly designed Upper Frequency Optimized humbucking pickup with a single active coil plus a hum-cancelling "dummy" air coil, AlNiCo (fixed) or FeCrCo (adjustable) magnet poles, taller bobbins and special gauge coil wire.
UFO pickups provide single coil crispness and transparency without the annoying 60 cycle hum of single coil pickups.
Direct retrofit for PAF style humbuckers with either 50MM or 52MM pole spacing.
Choose from 6K, 7K or 8K resistance (power & brightness) levels.
Available with metal UFO or Traditional Style full covers (chrome, gold or black) or open bobbin style
(cream, black or zebra bobbins).
Suitable for any style of music requiring single coil clarity, power and articulation but without any hum.
